The candidate must have: an active personal relationship with Christ, possess strong pedagogy, be familiar with teaching Language Arts, with a focus on writing and reading, possess a strong foundation in upper elementary mathematics,  develop and apply differentiated teaching methods, be creative in curriculum development, have strong classroom management skills, be comfortable integrating 21st century technology and skills into curriculum, and embrace a team mentality and collaborate well with coworkers.

Other beneficial professional qualities include educational competencies in at least one of: chemistry, physics, biology, social studies, physical education, Christian ethics/theology, or technology literacy. 

As a school that has impacted the Charlottetown community for over 40 years, GCS is looking to hire a full-time upper elementary lead teacher for the 2022-23 school year.
