Experience Required: Classroom experience is an asset as is teaching French and/or the ability to lead Physical Education classes.

Description

Cornerstone Christian Academy in Napanee, Ontario anticipates hiring staff for the next school year. Grade level to be determined after meeting candidates and finalizing student enrolment. Cornerstone is a member of ACSIEC.

Interested applicants should meet the following criteria:

• have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

• have an OCT or equivalent

• live a lifestyle that models Biblical truths

• have a desire to help children grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually • be a team player with a servant’s heart

• be prepared for a busy schedule that includes instructing, grading, planning, yard duty, extra-curricular, communicating with parents, staff meetings, etc
• have the ability to adapt curriculum for IEPs and be available and willing to provide additional assistance to students as needed

• have a strong grasp of math, grammar, and writing skills (curriculum includes ‘ABeka’ math and ‘Growing with Grammar’)

These would be full-time positions, covering leaves.
