Description

British Columbia Christian Academy is a Pre-K to Grade 12 independent Christian school in the Tri-Cities, drawing students from Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland, and all over the world. BCCA is certified as a Group 1 school by the Ministry of Education, Independent Schools Branch. All teachers are Christian and B.C. certified, committed to teaching B.C.’s New Curriculum from a Biblical perspective. Christian schools have a unique task and function, which is based on a foundational understanding of biblical implications for teaching and learning. As employees of BC Christian Academy, we serve as role models for the students. Teachers are to teach students with love, devotion and commitment through discipleship the art of compassion, through servanthood and prayer, and the spirit of community through the body of Christ while students develop patience through faith. Teachers are also to assist the family by providing a Christ-centred, Bible-based education that inspires each student to pursue excellence in spiritual growth, moral character, academics, fine arts, physical fitness and service to others.
