Teaching requirements would involve teaching core subjects using primarily the Abeka curriculum (phonics, math, language arts, etc.) along with a combination of science, social studies, and PE (using a variety of curriculum sources) to all levels JK-Gr. 8. Work hours are from 7:40-2:40pm five days per week. All days are paid days from the day the teacher begins until their contract ends in June with the exclusion of sicks days (the number of sick days is decided each year); ie: paid snowdays and all holidays. Teaching contract is for a one-year term with the possibility to renew dependent upon school needs. Teachers are not paid for summer break.

River Valley Christian Academy is located in Nackawic, NB, and currently offers classes in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. Our current student enrolment is below 20 students with three teachers. Grade combinations may vary slightly depending on enrolment.
