Educational Requirements: Possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education or related field). Have a teaching certification from the Province of Ontario or another jurisdiction (preferred, but not required) .
Experience Required: Previous teaching experience at the elementary level (preference given to those with a minimum of 3 years).

Description
Grand River Christian School (GRCS) is a new K-8 private school based in Kitchener, Ontario. The school is in the process of being validated by the Ontario Ministry of Education as we prepare to launch our first year of operations for the 2022 to 2023 school year. We are excited to announce that we are looking to hire teaching staff.
Working in partnership with the home and local church, GRCS is devoted to developing Christlike, well rounded individuals in a rich and engaging Christian environment for their pursuit of academic excellence, personal growth, spiritual and social responsibilities.
GRCS is seeking a highly-qualified teachers who have a passion for education, specifically in the area of elementary education. Courses to be taught may include elementary Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, and others depending on the successful candidates' qualifications (i.e. physical education, art, music, etc). The ideal candidates will be looking for a challenge to help students in an environment where we maximize available resources, and are passionate about their subject areas and their students. Positions would begin at the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Applicants must hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency in Canada.
Positions will start late summer 2022.
