True North Christian Academy is an independent Elementary School for Grades JK to 8 located in Stayner, Ontario.

At True North Christian Academy, we strive to be an extension of the home. We believe that children learn best in a nurturing environment, where they are given individual attention, taught to respect one another, stimulated by exciting learning opportunities and values that are consistent with those being taught at home.

True North Christian Academy invites applications for a full-time LTO Intermediate teaching position, to cover maternity leave, with hours of approximately 8:15-4:15 pm (8 hours per day).

The ideal candidate will be able to teach a small, three-grade split classroom and work closely with IEP's. As well they should be OCT certified, and have some experience working with delayed learners and/or experience working with children with autism.  It is especially important that the candidate demonstrate a passion for engaging learners in a supportive and caring environment.
