A Teachers Prayer for Growth:
Cultivating Health and Potential

Dear Heavenly Father,
As we seek to grow and flourish, we ask that You guide us through the growth cycle:
May we picture and see the potential of others. Give us a clear vision of who You want us to become and what You want us to achieve.
We plan to keep our eyes on you. Help us develop a plan to reach our full potential aligned with your will and purposes.
May we plough and prepare our hearts and minds, breaking up the hard soil of our limitations and fears? Make way for our students to grow.
May we plant and prepare our school to grow, sowing the seeds of Your Word and nurturing the growth of our faith and character in my life and the lives of my students and colleagues.
May we protect all those in our care. Guard us from harm, shield us from the forces that seek to hinder our growth, and use me and our school as a shelter and a place of refuge for others.
May we prune and be pruned in love. Refine and shape us, cutting away the things that hold us back and helping us become more like You.
May we pollinate. May we bring people and experiences into our lives to help us grow and spread the fragrance of Your love. May we grow our community, and may we be unified.
May we propagate and bear fruit. Use us to spread the message of Your love and reproduce the growth we've experienced in others. May we be fruitful, and may our growth bring glory to You.
