Description
ACSIEC is immediately seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to join our team. This full-time, fully remote position is available to anyone in Eastern Canada with occasional travel within Eastern Canada required.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Hours: 30-40 hr/week
Job Type: Hybrid-Remote in Eastern Canada
Position Qualifications
- An active Christian faith and an interest in Christian education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus, but not required
- Self-starting, responsible attitude with the ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to set and meet deadlines and remain motivated
- Previous experience with remote work is a plus
- A background in an educational environment is a plus
Position Description
Membership maintenance and communication:
- Maintain timely communication with our 50+ member schools via email, text, and phone
- Provide client-first communication and go above and beyond to prioritize member questions and concerns
- Create mail merges to mass communicate with members
- Maintain digital event schedule and inform members of upcoming events and changes to schedule
- Update members-only section of website, including uploading relevant articles, recorded meetings and conference
Digital marketing:
- Upkeep and editing of organizational website
- Using MailChimp to communicate with member schools
- Promote ACSIEC’s services and Christian education crucibles via social media
Accounting:
- Receive, deposit, and categorize membership and other payments from member schools
- Pay vendors, professional development guest speakers, and bills
- File monthly tax deductions
- Send wire transfers or other deposits as needed
- Work with Bookkeeping services to ensure financial responsibility as needed
Event planning and execution:
- With the Executive Director, plan and coordinate 1-4 annual in-person conferences (~500 attendees)
- Coordinate online registration software for large events
- Communicate and confirm all dates with all professional development guest speakers
- Create and distribute online meeting links
- Host and troubleshoot online meetings
- Overseeing all event vendors, logistics, volunteers, attendees, etc.
Assistant to ED:
- Assist with new school recruitment as needed via request by Executive Director
- Scheduling and coordinating virtual and in-person meetings and trips
- Contributing to monthly board reports
- Goal and vision casting for the organization
- Other duties may be required at the request of the Executive Director
