Online Teachers for ALL Subject Areas (Gr. 5-12, part-time)
Nimbus Christian Education (NCE) provides accredited, online courses (Gr. 5-12) developed and delivered by Christian teachers and staff who are committed to timely, caring and robust support for our students, families and schools.
We'd love to talk about how you can become part of the NCE staff team and enjoy the flexibility of working as an independent contractor who decides what, who, how often, how much and from where they would like to work!
Subjects:
We welcome applicants in ALL subject areas and grade levels (specific listing for subject area needs).
Compensation:
Teachers are paid per student based on the offers of students they choose to accept, which will be based on registration requests from schools and families that fit with the teacher's indicated preferences. Rate of pay varies based on registration type and service level.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ontario College of Teachers, Christian School Teacher Certificate, or equivalent
- Degree or experience in the relevant subject area(s)
It would be beneficial if the applicant has:
- Taken, taught and/or created online courses (specifically asynchronous)
- Competency using Google applications
- Experience in Moodle and Brightspace by D2L
- Previously worked remotely
