GCS is looking to fill the following position for the 2025-2026 school year:
Language Arts/ESL Teacher
Experience & Qualifications:
- Have an active personal relationship with Christ
- Possess strong pedagogy in Language Arts (Gr. 7-12) and/or ESL curriculum
- (all levels)
- Possess passion and experience in teaching middle/high school students in a
- classroom setting
- Be familiar with teaching phonics-based curriculum
- Develop and apply differentiated teaching methods
- Be creative in curriculum development and deployment
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Develop and implement curriculum on an online platform
- Be comfortable integrating 21st-century technology and skills into curriculum
- Embrace a team mentality and collaborate well with coworkers
Other beneficial professional qualities include educational competencies in at
least one of: Social studies, Christian ethics/theology, French, physical education, or
technology literacy.
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Education or ACSI Teaching Certificate
(minimum); Degree in English/ESL Certification; Experience in teaching ESL
